Caught Unawares...Share in the story
What a great night!
Forty artists from the Caught Unawares Guild opened "epic" at the Cherry Hill Public Library Gallery located at 1100 North Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. The evening featured the visual, musical and poetic work of these dedicated artists who enthusiastically shared their story. The story is on display for the month of December at the library gallery and you are all invited to enter the narrative during the library's operating hours.
Art with a purpose
The opening of "epic" was marked by two unique elements: Jesse Titus, Caught Unawares Creative Director taught a kids art class and captivated the imaginations and talents of about 25 promising young artists. (Their work will be on virtual display later this week in our online gallery) The other element was the generous response from the over 200 people in attendance. Once again we asked for the community to come and share in the story of Caught Unawares by donating gift cards to empower local families to shop for their holiday celebration. At the writing of this update, the gift card tally is almost $900.00. The Caught Unawares Leadership Team and artist Guild thanks you for your generosity and support. We look forward to continuing this outreach with a schedule of new events and opportunities. Please check in often and feel free to email your comments of visit us on Facebook.
